PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Risk and Compliance Analyst is responsible for assisting the Risk and Compliance Manager in identifying, assessing, and monitoring organizational risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards. The RCA shall support the business continuity program and disaster recovery activities of SSG.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Risk Management
- Support departments in identifying, documenting, and managing risks.
- Assist in risk assessment of existing tools and processes.
- Support compliance and audit initiatives of the department.
- Assist in gathering evidence and artifacts for audit engagements.
- Support the closure of audit findings
Compliance
- Support activities to maintain current certifications and achieve new certifications
- Monitor and report the overall employee compliance to company policies, contracts and regulations.
Business Continuity Management
- Assist in business continuity exercises and testing.
- Identify gaps and opportunities to improve resilience.
- Ensure remediation and closure of actions raised from business continuity activities
- Training and Awareness
- Assist in developing and delivering compliance training to employees
- Promote a culture of risk awareness and privacy.
Reporting
- Assist in preparing reports on risk and compliance issues for management.
- Contribute to reporting for management, Business Continuity Committee and the executives.
- Maintain documentation related to contract review, assessments and incidents.
- Maintain and organize compliance-related documentation
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- With 1-2 years of experience in risk management, compliance, auditing and business continuity, preferably within the BPO industry.
- Understanding of regulatory and security frameworks e.g. DPA, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 2
- Hands-on experience in Business Continuity programs, including Business Impact Analysis (BIA), continuity testing and simulation exercises.
- Proficiency in MS Office
